Essentials of Team Leadership

This one-day course for managers at all levels condenses the manager training from the SuddenTeams® Program to its most critical lessons. Learn the key techniques science has provided for leading teams to high performance. The course covers "The Least You Need to Know" for team selection, formation, and management, plus a condensed version of the Meeting Facilitation course described below. Myths about teambuilding are exposed, and the course is full of exercises to help each participant tap into the expert team leader within.

Communication Skills

The half-day Communication Skills Mini-Course addresses the problems that can arise at each step of the communication process. The trainer uses examples and current problems solicited from participants before the class to wed theory to your reality. In addition, the course covers cross-cultural and electronic communication and has a unique strength in persuasion, a key skill in getting things accomplished in today's business world. Special emphasis is placed throughout the course on identifying and managing potential conflicts and ensuring team members and stakeholders get the information they need when they need it.

Meeting Facilitation

Meetings have a bad reputation as time-wasters, yet almost everyone can recall at least one meeting that was a good use of their time.
